I think u know the basic shading....
but u make the sprites body very much puffy like a balloon and make the head comparatively smaller...
Try to fix these things and u will improve ;)

I've made a new sprite. I've tried a new hair style. He is a guy who can raise plants. That's what he is doing in the sprite. So here it is:

Take it easy....If you do sprites like this you will never gain experience as you will not pay attention to shading,detail etc.
For the sprite:
The power he is casting on the plant should have a glow on his clothes,it looks unrealistic the way it is now,the hair looks a little too big,and the left shoe looks big as well.
You have got the basic shading right.His eyes and expressions do not account to what he is doing and they look a little strange.

OK. Since no one critiqued that one here's another one. I tried to make it on 200% for first time. Also it's pretty simple. So here it is:

nice,but your body looks bit to big for his head try to like lf2 chars have.
try to do ears like in this davis pic [Image: Davis.bmp]
