[solved] Chasing Problem - zxcv11791 - 05-01-2008 How do I make a chasing ball that only goes on the x and z axis and dosen't move up and down whenever the enemy jumps? the y: 550 dosen't really work, and using hit_Fa: 14 and 3 makes the ball go too slow  already checked the search on the old forum, coulden't find anything RE: Chasing Problem - MH-Razen - 05-01-2008 You forgot about the mainsite ![]() http://www.lf-empire.de/content/view/166/149/lang,en/ hit_Fa: 3 Chasingball (x-, z-axis) 0-1-2-3-0 (next) Have fun ^_^ RE: Chasing Problem - zxcv11791 - 05-01-2008 zxcv11791 Wrote:How do I make a chasing ball that only goes on the x and z axis and dosen't move up and down whenever the enemy jumps? the y: 550 dosen't really work, and using hit_Fa: 14 and 3 makes the ball go too slow  RE: Chasing Problem - MH-Razen - 05-01-2008 oh sorr<yy, my fault... but I doubt you'll find a "faster" chase ball which just act on x and z axis. Maybe try hit_Fa: 7 with dvy: 550 or dvy: -5 (depends if 550 dont work you can add neg up-movement, but five is just a random value ...) No other ideas ... RE: Chasing Problem - Silverthorn - 05-01-2008 I like to use hit_Fa: 11, this one is used on Bat's bats. The y-movement is pretty low, and maybe you can disable this one totalle by adding dvy: 550. Just give it a try
RE: Chasing Problem - Hypermodder - 05-01-2008 use hit_Fa: 2 (like dennis' chase ball) RE: Chasing Problem - zxcv11791 - 05-07-2008 fixed this myself, used hit_Fa: 14 with dvx: 8 plus some looping and waits. Apparently hit_Fa: 14 doesen't get screwy until after dvx: 9+ first frame with dvx: 8 and hit_Fa: 14, next frame with dvx: 0 and hit_Fa: 14, etc. are there any more other methods though? |
