[Char] Paelem from Doom 2 (Final Version 2) - RUDOLF27 - 07-24-2008 Paelem for LF2: (Short for "Pain Elemental" from Doom 2) *Final version 2 Release date: 08/08/08 INSTALL: 1. Sprites, Sounds & Data - LF2 Folder > data/paelem 3. Add in data.txt under <object>: What's updated: - Paelem's curse dark BG will now always cover the whole screen. - added readme in the winrar file... - lava move can now hurt and then burn enemies even before erupting... - other minor fixes... What's in Final Version 1 (07/24/08): - removed blood of fire and changed it to a new move: lava... - polished Lost souls anim... - polished fire ball... - added black flash background for Paelem's curse... - edit some misaligned axes... - edited a lot of sprites... - edited mp usage... id: 10 type: 0 file: data\paelem\paelem.dat id: 512 type: 3 file: data\paelem\paelem_death.dat id: 513 type: 3 file: data\paelem\paelem_fire.dat id: 514 type: 3 file: data\paelem\paelem_souls.dat id: 515 type: 3 file: data\paelem\paelem_el.dat NOTE: You can change the Character id no. but the given id no. is meant for AI. Lost Souls (30 mp): D + > + A - very strong chasing attack 3. Lava (10 mp): D + ^ + A - spitting lava that can hurt & burn enemies... 4. Eyes of Doom (60 mp): D + > + J - surrounded with numerous eyes that attack in all directions... 5. Paelem's Curse (40 mp, -10 hp): EYES OF DOOM + A - a giant eye will come out in the sky knocking down all enemies. 6. Paelem's jaws (10 mp): RUN + A - running attack biting enemies that pass by. Special Feature: 1. Explode after death - will explode after death and burn enemies near him... CREDITS: 1. MH-LF2's data changing tutorials (& others not mentioned)... 2. Doom 2 Sprites 3. Readme in a download is a must!!! 2. move 3 (lava) should have a higher bdefend or fall, so the char is hurt once and then burn, more realistic 3. Paelem's Curse: not sure how you realised this with the darkened effect, but I suggest you use a ball and let him go down the z-axis before you make the image appear - then the image can be smaller and all enemys are covered... If you did it that way anyways, then ok Conclusion: Really great char. Original, not overpowered... Good idea but I wanted the eruption to be the only one to burn enemies... I'll think of it anyway... MH-Razen Wrote:3.
