AI Terrifying Chaseball - mfc - 10-02-2011 Funny idea: 1) Create a chasing ball. 2) Make it opoint and hold an action 1280 t0 object. 3) Delete its body points and itr tags. 4) Figure out a way with hit_a tag to set chasing time. After spriting yout ghost ball, its done... I didn't tested it but it sounds nice... RE: AI Terrifying Chaseball - YinYin - 10-02-2011 i think the AI does not react to invisible characters if you want to terrify them just use state 14 (does not even require type 0) RE: AI Terrifying Chaseball - mfc - 10-02-2011 (10-02-2011, 05:00 PM)YinYin Wrote: i think the AI does not react to invisible characters Become invisible with rudolf and try runnin after a com. Ai is always afraid of invisible chars. And yea, state 14 does the job too but ghosts never have shadows :o RE: AI Terrifying Chaseball - YinYin - 10-02-2011 an object held with wpoint does not have a shadow either edit: also i always thought they just generally run away from the spot they last saw you RE: AI Terrifying Chaseball - mfc - 10-02-2011 (10-02-2011, 05:22 PM)YinYin Wrote: an object held with wpoint does not have a shadow either you got me there:P (10-02-2011, 05:22 PM)YinYin Wrote: edit: also i always thought they just generally run away from the spot they last saw you I always tought that it is so unfair that ai can always see you even when you're invisibl... It would make more sense if it would be like you said but for now lets call it as a bug(feature) lol. |
