i am confused

in paint.net i'm using a pencil tool is there any way to make it skinnier
if so can you tell me

so i can make outlines

can you tell me how or give me a download link for brushes
for paint.net

i'm getting to be new at this

do u know what i'm talking about

I have not used paint.net but I get what you mean.mostly the square brackets are used for changing brush sizes generally in any application("[" , "]") Take a look at this blog, it might help.

yeah i seen one of you guys youtube videos on spriting in paint.net
yeah he using pencil tool for making outlines and it look like brush is lower then 1
of some sort. what type of brush is that. oh yeah i look at the blog just getting to understand atm.

I don't think thats possible, some software have that some softwares don't, Krita for example alowe you to use any brush size you like ...

GO THE OTHER WAY AROUND.
Use the size of 1px but scale the image up.
