[solved] Making sprites for blasts and how to put them in to lf2

I'm having some trouble understanding how to put in different ball_dat. for different sprites, I can't find In the .dat where to find it.
For Example, lets say I want to use a move like freeze's ice column and except for I columns, I'm going to put Firen's explosion, but I don't want the original move to get messed up when I change it. It's a bit hard to understand, I know..... :(
Lets try an easier one, I want to make a character that will use a move like Julian's soul bomb while changing the color and changing the color etc. without changing the original soul bomb when I use it on Julian.
I hope I cleared out my problem...
If not, please quote me and I'll try to edit it.

Just rename the red marked text with the names of your self-made pictures!
Could i solve your problem? =0

Edit: I guess i failed to help you. You meant sth else, right?

Well, I think you did misunderstand me, I understand what type of bmp to put in the files. I'm not that nooby lol. It's hard to explain first of all. I want a custom made character to fire a blast that is different from the original, but I don't know where in the .dat in the character it tells it to 'spawn' the blast, or whatever it's like blasting a sprite that looks like firen or henry's ball. Is this found in the ball .dat itself or is it in the character.dat? Although you answered part of my question... I think. the other part is when I want the character to actually spawn that attack. thats what I'm trying to get across.
I think you could mean the sth, but I don't know THAT much in DC, only some of the basics.
