permanent unlock
#1
i'm making a mod and would like to remove the lock on some characters

the problem is all the patchs don't work on lf2.20a
and anyway i don't want all the characters to be unlock

while it is possible to just change the i.d number i really want the I.A to stay the same.

Ps the the ai copying tuture fails on lf2.20a so this is not an option

Correct me if I'm wrong, but what you want is a system similar to playing the stage mode and as you advance you unlock characters permanently, right? As far as I remember, you could either make the chars always selectable or secret by changing the ID, there was no way to make you unlock them midway or due to some advance. I can be wrong though.

Actually no, I'm pretty sure he wants to have certain chars, that are locked with "lf2.net", available without the cheat (in any modes, not just Stage).

I'm pretty sure you are :P

Well, as far as I got it, he wants the following:
Usually, IDs 30-59 (I think there are some exceptions which I don't recall right now) are hidden until you enter the cheat. He wants some of those IDs to be unlocked. Alternatively, a copy of the AI to different IDs would be another option but he isn't able to follow the tutorial as he wants it for 2.0a.

To make it short: if Silva replies, expect the worst. If he doesn't reply, expect the worst.
