Attack problem - hitting ground

I made an attack there my Char jumps in the air and then shoots
a ball straight down ... but the ball doesnt hit the ground, it flies through the whole gamewindow ignoring the ground... sry for being a noob :D

balls cannot hit grounds, ecxept with hit_fa: 7
for my attack i used typ2. a weapon can hit ground, but it can be blowed away too.

Type 3-objects naturally ignore the ground. You can enable it by using a frame with hit_Fa: 3 followed by hit_Fa: 7. This is similar to Firzen's upper-chase; hit_Fa: 7-frames will go to frame (I think) 60 when they reach the ground.

Alternatively, you can make this ball a weapon (doesn't matter if t1 or t2); then, it'll also respond upon reaching the ground.

okay thx i will try to get to a solution
... and how do i get to the hitting frames when it hits another char or weapon?

That's a type-3-property. Best is to check out this page: http://www.lf-empire.de/en/lf2-empire/da...-3-attacks (towards the bottom of the page) ;)

Note that you might need to run on a special state. State 3005, for example, is quite robust in that matter :p
