[solved] 2 things
#11
you can make a char out of a weapon.
a bit difficult, but then you can choose the hp -so he dies with just 1 hit- and you can't choose it in the menu.

edit: or you can make a char out of a ball, nearly the same but a bit easier, I think

The problem of type: 3 is that it doesn't react to gravity at all...
Make a little experiment: Modify a character so that he continuously creates objects, preferably something like template. Now, mess around with data.txt. Change the type from 0 to 6, and you'll see which type will work... ;)

D'UH!
this is too easy...
remove the small bmp of the clone.dat
so... if someone use the clone in a game, the EXE will try to find the smallbmp and the game would crash! O_O

and you could even try to put in the clone_face like this: DO NOT PICK THIS CHAR! THE GAME WILL CRASH!

:D

a simple and a working method :D
The dumb do the mess, the normal one gets angry, the smart one have fun. :D

Well great! Creating a crashing factor would indeed solve that clone prob... but who likes a game that'll crash? Doesn't matter if it's planned or not, the result is the same: the player gets angry :P

I remember this from k-LF2, the crash char, that was named 'This is not really a char so ><'.
Just disable the cheat, or something.
(Though it can be enabled back)
OR: Just leave it be. Just like RN-LF2's kamecs. You can select them, and you'll die.
I didn't see any complaints ^_^

well, the easiest solution is: give the clones a name like: "No Character" or "Don't choose" and a cross instead a face pic or something like this. If humans still take them they're stupid...

Like this solution? If you also use a cheat id for it you only see it if you type it in

hm, I dont really get your method and there's NO way to hide objects from selection beside cheat (if we're talking about type 0) and there's also no way (as far as I know) to code real characters into other types. Sure you can make balls look like chars, but now it depends what the author wants to have...
