Welcome to the LFE Forums. Do check the link one of the posters posted to. Snipped the wallpaper image, didn't need to quote that. Also, I literally google searched "dude wallpaper" and got it. Enjoy.

In my case the game did not start at all, no window, no nothing. Resolution was to install this:
"Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update"

And I've realised that when looking at Event Log an entry about missing resources:
Microsoft.VC80.MFC,processorArchitecture="x86"
