maybe this is an "OverHead" idea but... maybe we should create another link archieve to the mainsite. create not add, like LF DC-er, LF Spriter or, LF HEX-er. if someone want to join one of them they must show their skill.
and maybe it could help everyone to find the right person to help and cooperate to create some mods. but looks like it'll be a lot of work.

Motto:
Spriter: sprites was just a couple of trash without data that can make it move and EXE files to play in it.
DC-er: data was only a dream that can't be realized without Sprites and EXE files as a media.
HEX-er: EXE files are just an useless empty room without datas and sprites.

first of all, you're right, it'll pobably be alot of work for whomever
leads/organizes each group.

But it does sound cool, I've seen groups form on other forums.
Albeit those forums had themes for each group as well.

If the moderators don't want to govern the groups themselves,
but don't have a prob with the idea,
why don't you start one?
Most ideas just need someone to start them, and then people follow.
Heck, I could start one ... (pending judgements)

Personaly, I would like to see this idea pick up some steam.

i don't support the idea. it's supposed to be a community, not a fraternity. if you seclude newcomers from w/e, then what is there to help them increase their skillz?

that's why we have the user earned awards, so that people will know whom to ask concerning w/e. basically you just need to know whom to ask, but that being said, everyone who's good in each category (DCing Spriting Hex editing etc.) would answer questions that are posted.
