Ok I don't know if anyone suggested this, but the multiplayer lock seems REALLY awkward. There's a simpler way to do the multi-lock (again I don't know if this is already used):
Procedure:
Ok here's the gist of it:
1) Summon a ball underground with stage.dat
2) Make the ratio 1.0
3) On the coding put itr/kind8 and bdy on the same location so they would hit each other if there's another copy (because of more than one character)
4) Connect itr/kind8 with the lock mech!
