If you look at an LF2 sprite, you will see that all their facial features, except the eyes, are very small. And the eyes aren't outlined.
When you make hair, use a point at the back of the head to see in which direction the hair should be. Since my English is too lacking for me to explain in detail what you should do, I made a picture instead
As you can see, the general direction of the hair is determined by the green point but you can add swirl as you wish at the end of the hairstrands.
Two last things, the head is too broad, and there are no ears!

Why the paint hating? It's a great program to learn the spriting basics with.
