Very good, but you should put more frames after the attack, when the char is drawing back the ball/bola thing in.
Again, frame speed. What's he going to hit when he's that slow?
Suggestion-Maybe he dashes forward and spins the ball a few more times as a follow up attack?

Actually i don't see how he can swing the dagger like that and not get the chain wrapped around the body...which is why it looks really weird

Oh, my bad. I can't see were the chain is too properly. In that case change his pose a bit, maybe put the the hand with the ball in front and not at the back? It looks sort of awkward when he swings it like that. Or even make the ball arm swing instead, as this would make the dagger spin as well as it's connected to the ball.
