[solved] Beam to the ground

Hey guys,

I'm trying to make a beam that is launched from the sky. When it hits the ground, it explodes.

I had it fully working as a ball, but now I'm trying to make a beam out of it (which is a little bit more complex and is using more frames), it doesn't show the sprites correctly.

The first sprite of the move flashes for about 1/4 second then disappears. The rest of the images doesn't show up at all. The opoint in the character .dat file links to frame 40. The data for the beam is a type: 1 (weapon) file. The opoint in frame 64 links to the explosion, which is working fine.

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Is it actually possible to get the beam to work this way?

it is supposed to be row: 8 col: 1
