Heh, gratz.
If this is some kind of self-boast thread, I'll bait:
http://doomedsda.us/player287lmps.html
That's basically a list of my demos for doom and plethora of homemade versions of it (.lmp files that play back with .lmp file players or ports made for doom - main page of that site describes it hopefully quite detailedly in case of interest). Some people tend to call each record of each cathegory a world record, but I have different view on that. Also quite many of those demos got beaten by faster ones during that year since I did first demo. :P
Besides that I've tried speedruns for random games here and there, but ehh those are hard. SDA is mostly oriented in speedruns of whole games, and those take plethora of time to get right.

xP to score a good score you need to stick to a certain game for a pretty long time. I've played vectrix for about three years I think.
Actually the game I'm most serious into is Tetris, specifically the ones that uses SRS (so not cultris) and features T-Spins (again, not cultris). But breaking the record in Tetris is just impossible xD . I saw an interview on YouTube, and the best players out there play at least 4 hours every day. That's insane... And I can sometimes meet the crazy players on Nullpomino or Tetris Online Poland.

Bah, being the best in a game sucks It means you can't exactly improve anymore.
For me a game i can't improve anymore in, is boring.
Being good, always, being the best never ^^
Version 1.10 out now!
Version 1.02 out now!
Version 1.22 out now!
Return (String) System.getNewsOfTheDay();
Barely active, expect slow responses. If at all.

I can't get too seriously into games that are too limited for me in terms of gameplay (exp. - tetris ;P). Doom and its edits just offers enough variability that you'd last a lifetime not getting bored of it (seriously!).
If you feel like wasting an hour presumably going nauseous once you finish watching, then give this a watch.

Reminds of the time when I was one of the best LF2 players, and the really best players (temporarily) stopped playing. There wasn't much of a challenge in online fighting anymore, so I played less untill the time CAY, Noir and some others showed up. By than, Noir (and I think Dixon as well) were better than me and I started playing some LF2 again. This is years ago now (which reminds me, I've been into LF2 for almost 9 years already Oo), I haven't been real active in online fighting for a long time.
So yeah, it's nothing interesting anymore if you always win.

Whoa, whoa, wait a minute xD Tetris is not that limited in gameplay - well if you're referring to the 1989 Tetris, that's right.
If you're playing on TOP that features T-Spins, there can be tons of T-Spin setups & methods and you can even invent your own openings and middle game strategy. In some situation even a simple combo stacking can counter some advanced T-Spins, so strategy is important. There's a reason why you are allowed to see the opponent's field and you're given 5 pieces previews.
For example, for TSM+TST there's T-Spin snaking, which I found useful in Marathon mode, but impractical in VS mode. People found out ST-Stacking to be perfect for Ultra mode, but for VS mode it'd just be countered by downstacking with little combos. Some people find ST-Stacking too hard and they use B2B TST setup instead for Ultra mode.
In some cases we can 'store' T-slots, for example if we don't get any T-blocks, hell, waiting for one while doing nothing is really bad, so there's for example the Imperial Cross setup which can give us another TSD/T-Spin Double while waiting for the T-Block to come out.
Depending on the positions, many have even developed their own methods - the Kaidan (stairs) setup for example, can be applied if you have a straight diagonal stack on the side, to give you back-to-back TSDs.
More over, those methods can be combined with each other, making everyone's playing style different. Still, thinking speed and accuracy are very important, but with only creating Tetrises, you need double the speed to win compared to if you use advanced T-Spin methods (Nullpomino even features 180 degrees rotate with more spin bonuses, not only T, and uses the immobile recognition).
Well, not sure if you understand them all, but they are all real! Not only so many things can be learned in Tetris, but also unlimited methods can be Invented. Well, you know, without them there will not be players playing 4 hours a day for tens of years xD . Jtadore has played for more than 30 years (I used to like his videos on YouTube xD ), and there are many players who plays as well as him, so I would guess they'd played for tens of years too..
About methods invention, for example last year the most surprising invention was done by a HD player in a tournament with his 4-wide combo, now the method is popular, 2 years ago, it was the air t-spin if i'm not mistaken - setting up temporary t-slot without base, but that's insanely difficult xD some japanese can make use of that though. Now the aggressive twist setups is a hot topic in tetris forums xD
But Nullpomino is kinda dominated by the unbelievably quick and smart players (yeah, quicker and being able to build better setups @.@ ).
Ahh, btw all these things might be hidden just because people prefer playing casually - that is, Facebook's Tetris Battle, or Tetris Friends, which have really bad speed configurations for competitive matches, just become more popular than the competitive ones. But when you open harddrop.com or tetrisconcept everything's just look different xD .

Well, the point is that there's unlimited ways of playing Tetris (especially for multiplayer VS mode).
