My new char Flame, hope there is no character with a name Flame. Btw the char is in progress.
I think the spriting is the hardest part of making a char, because i love data changing. Feel free to comment .

Personally, I feel you should get the hang of spriting before creating a full spritesheet. For somebody that's fairly new to spriting, it's incredibly time-consuming to draw it all with getting only mediocre results.

The char itself has quite good proportions, just the shading seems to be not visible. My suggestion is to stick around the sprite-forum to get some advice on character-drawing. Just open up a thread with sprites you have created and let the comments come in. This will not only improve your general spriting-quality but also increase your creation-speed

Here's a little remake of the sprite. I'm not much of a spriter but had nothing to do so i just remade him. Hope you like it

I just shaded it more. The contrast on the shirt might not be right. Oh, well.

I like the hair so i won't change it but i think i need to melt darker colors in and shade it more. Thanks!

updated a little bit, the eyes look weird but ill soon fix it and shade the other pics

I like the initiative to make a character and especially to draw full sprite sheets.But you should improve more your drawing skills in shading.Try to take a look at tutorials in sprite/tutorial forum and try to understand them.You can find there a lot helpful tutorials about shading and lighting.

Also will see what "surprise" will bring datachanging.

Honestly, looks neat. Of course, the shading is either crap or not existant, but, as fair as i can tell, you got the whole proportion and movement part quite right.
Feel free to finish up the DC first and improve the sprites afterwards, if your char is awesome, one can overlook sub-par sprites.
