[Fast] Survival is a custom survival stage

This survival stage gets difficult in early stages, so this unfortunately does not suit beginners. However, I believe this can produce better recordings with more actions starting from the beginning, and for us who want to set of break other players records for fun, we don't have to fight a very long way to stage 40s again, thus, not wasting an hour of easy stages just to get a chance to try the harder stages. This stage is very fast, you probably will die before entering two digits

The survival consists of 20 stages (the last stages are extremely difficult), so it can't be a very long game. The survival is designed for 1 and 2 players. 3 and more players will also work though. In contrast to the original stage, you can always choose to kill the weaker opponents first here, even though in some stages killing the boss will stop the others from coming. This might also make an interesting long speed run challenge , though that's not the main purpose.

In this thread, I will hold the survival records for this stage. So, kinda similar to the world record thread. However, I will split the records for each different characters. But since there are 55 possible hero combinations for 2 players, WELL. But basically, I don't want to lose a single record. If it's a different hero combination, I will always keep the recording. If this thread cannot hold a good list of recordings, I will make it somewhere and link to it on this thread, but for now, this thread seems good.

In case you don't know how to use it, follow these steps:
1. Open a folder named 'data' in your LF2 directory.
2. Replace stage.dat with the one you download at the link above.
3. Restart LF2 (in case it's already open)

Henry: Flute (D^J) should only be used at most once per stage.

Rudolf: only transform to Rudolf. If you transform to any other heroes or followers, it will count as Rudolf[T] (separate record). Transforming into bosses is not allowed. And in any case, you can only have at most 2 clones at a time. A rule that will probably be included: disappear should only be used at most once per stage.

Louis: He will be counted as LouisEX after he transform.

Tie Breaker: In case two records reach the same stage, total max HP of the remaining opponents (including reserves) will determine the winner.

Finally: If there are rules which have to be included, they will be included.

Still too slow. Where's the challenge in defeating less than 5 enemies? Even 8 can be done consistently with, at worst, significant health loss.

Even I often am not on full hp after Stage 1. You are too good, zort, lol. I just got to Stage 8 with Dennis :\ . See, I can't beat 8 opponents so easily T.T

I'm not saying I don't get hit at all during 1. But that doesn't mean it's challenging. I think we may have different preconceptions of how a survival stage should be fun. Perhaps, you think it should be hard to get to 20 (or 18 or whatever), whereas I think it should be hard to get past any wave at all. I'm defining "hard" as having a low success rate, say 30% (I dunno, just a number). Perhaps you think, "The stage as a whole is challenging, i.e. it's practically impossible to get to 20, so this is a damn hard stage and a worthy challenge to anyone." I think, "Level 1 is easy, i.e. it would be pretty hard to mess it up so bad that you die, so why am I wasting my time with it? Maybe it eventually gets hard to survive, or it's super hard to retain enough health to get through to the end, but I have a short attention span so that kind of challenge is not where I get my kicks." Killing 10,000 Bandits one at a time is also "hard". I do not want a stage where I can get to 8 with Dennis on the first try. I would love something like Stage 4 without the boring warmup waves in the very beginning, though longer than that.

Sorry for pissing on [Fast] so early on :d Of course, as I've tried to convey, this is subjective, so ideally my piss doesn't count for anything.

BTW this is also my beef with Noir's stage, which he repeatedly claims is hard even though clearly one can easily survive it for at least 5 minutes ◕̅_◕̅ This response of his gets my blood boiling.

Ahh, yes, I'm still thinking it should start with a medium difficulty and then quickly increases every stage. Probably more similar concept to if you skip to stage 41 in the original survival. Now I see why it is too slow for you. Though in my opinion it's fast enough.

Well, so far my best for 1 player difficult with heroes is stage 8 with Dennis
