lf2 exits automaticly after few seconds

I had downloaded the ddraw debug and saved the dll in my lf2 directory as the instructions were given. But when I start lf2, when the fight begins, after 4 seconds lf2 exits automaticly. It is happening in all the modes. How to fix this? Please anyone help me. I am using lf2 version 1.9

the ddraw.dll currently only supports version 2.0a
