No offense, but I don't believe in those kidnapps.
And why in hell would they want to destroy us? I mean, they have searched in the galaxy for other living beings from other planets! Perhaps as pets but not as dead beings.

Maybe because there are some thing valueable here that they want, some natural resources or some soft of energy (we haven't discovered yet or our gorverment hidden them)

I guess not. That is very unlikely. If "the Gorverment" found them, other scientists would also have picked up a trace and it wouldn't be able to be kept secret.
But it is only an opinion from one guy on earth

- intelligent life form - maybe only in 10% of living planets will form
intelligent being
- communicating being - maybe 10% of intelligent life forms will find a
way for interstellar communication
- period of civilization's existence - averagely 10000 years

Due to these facts we can await that in our galaxy exist
50 x 0.5 x 0.4 x 0.9 x 0.1 x 0.1 x 10000 = 900 alien civilzations, with which we can theoretically communicate.

But well, it's just a theory.

Anyway if we are about to find out an intelligent life form at other planets far away, it will be way stranger being than in any of our imaginations.
