well.. it looks very good i think. But blue eyes with red.. looks not good (my opinion) Hair looks awesome now MAybe you could give him red eyes with black in it?

i like the sprite very much, could make an epic boss!!
personally, i liked the eyes how they were originally, just make them darker, and only on the pupils
