The most popular programs are GIMP and PhotoFlitre there free

Considering that Photoshop is quite pricey, I'd consider trying to use either Gimp, Paint.NET or some other free software. And NO, I do NOT want to hear about that it's easy to "get by".
And I do believe that this is the wrong section.
