LFE Quake Live event
#1
Some time ago I convinced Silva to try out Quake Live, and after some time this popped up:
Quote:[2012-08-05 20:30:48] <Doix> we should have a quake live lfe match and stream it :p
Since Blue Phoenix is evil (Evilmod), we couldn't use the stream, and since id Software (Quake Live developer) is evil we can't actually create a private server without purchasing a pro membership, and since we are cheap, we won't do so.

My idea instead is to find an empty server with a max of 8 people and populate it.
For now this is just an idea, but if we get enough people to participate, it could become reality.

Quake Live is free, and you can register here: http://quakelive.com/

Edit: Just noticed this was my 450th post :)
Age ratings for movies and games (and similar) have never been a good idea.

It is based on a fairly old game, so the graphics are not anywhere near Battlefield 3. The graphics aren't bad though.

Fairly small. Most of it runs in the browser, so it is only a plugin that needs to be installed.

My recommendation is to try it, and if you don't like it you can simply remove it, from your computer.
