Catching falling characters

Can we do it? if yes how? and how to hit falling characters to perform comboable moves? thanx in advanced

fall: 70 or higher

As YinYin said, if the itr's fall is 70 or higher it will affects the falling character (works with any Kind).

Isn't anything over 40 able to hit people in the falling state?
I use fall: 41 for one character to hit an opponent in the air, but without making the opponent instantly fall down if hit on the ground.

Or is based on time in some way (similar to how "fall cooldown" works on the ground)?
Though, sometimes it seems to miss and I'm unsure whether it is a hitbox problem or if opponent is already immune.

Anyway, thanks for the information regarding catching the opponent in the air, I thought it was only possible with effect 2 or 3.

Yes,
dennis' run attack is a good example for that.
If it misses sometimes I would blame either the attack or victim rest - you need to check what you knocked your opponent out with and how long it will stop you from hitting him again.
However for catching it doesn't really matter, better be safe than sorry.
