LF2 Video collection for PvE

Just like lf2replay.appspot.com, this is an expandable collection of fights. The difference is, we should submit YouTube videos instead of replay files.

I will work on more features (win/lose, score, characters, players, support for battle mode), and also to make a stylesheet so it'll look better.


Right now, I save all details in a text file which only I can access. So, in order to put your videos in the list, you unfortunately cannot just submit it like in lf2replay site. You can give me the text and I will add them .

You need to follow this format if you want to submit videos:

Each line contains:
NumOfPlayer,Mode,Challenge,Difficulty,Score/Desc,Link,C1,C2,C3,C4,P1,P2,P3,P4,Background,W/L

IMPORTANT: each parameter/argument is separated with only a comma, without space.
note: I will make a generator soon for this code. It might still be faster if you type it yourself though.

NumOfPlayer: 1,2,3,4 (only the human players! Remember, this is only for PvE with no more than 2 teams! more players isn't supported!)

Mode: VS, Stage (other modes aren't yet supported, but can still be submitted)

Challenge:
for VS Mode: Bat, LouisEX, Firzen, Julian, Combination, Heroes, Others
for Stage Mode: Stage 1, Stage 2, ..., Stage 5, Survival

Score/Desc:
for listed challenges, the number of enemies
(for combination: 1 = VS Julian. 2 = VS J+Firzen, 3 = J+F+LouisEX, 4 = J+F+L+Bat, for 5-7, add one, two and three heroes)

for Survival, last stage reached
for other stages:
0 = lost
1 = win
2 = win without drinking
3 = win without freeing allies
4 = win without freeing allies and drinking
for others, bleh, I guess, just put 0 for now

Link (IMPORTANT!!): It's NOT the link to the video, but only the video id from youtube (the seemingly random letters (and probably underscores) after "watch?v=")

Difficulty:
Easy, Normal, Difficult, Crazy

C1-C4: character names as shown in LF2

P1-P4: Player names

as for now, I have uploaded the bat fights I did with my brother. I will pretty soon upload my single player fights and the firzen fights I did with zort, so there will be many more vids to come , and then the query will be truly useful.

I'm not having much interest on playing stage modes though, so I'd appreciate stage/survival mode videos a lot .

Hey man. Don't do this. We can talk about adding the features you need to lf2replays. Just please don't expend the effort trying to do it manually. Let's talk first, okay? On Skype?

I can't Skype right now, because my internet isn't working. I can only use it for a short time everyday on my friend's computer.

I think it'll be much better if we use lf2replay anyway, because with the lfr files it will automatically provide many information and a proof of a non-modded lf2. I hope the feature can be added soon . At least, I gave out some ideas haha..

I think it'd be cool if lf2replay can have YT video linked to the recordings (optional) and people can find these videos via a query system and watch it embedded on lf2replay .

Don't worry, all these features are in the TODO for lf2replays (right now working on internationalization though :p). Now you've just cajoled me into working on them a little faster.
