attention please!! noob crossing...
so this is my first bg ever i have no previus proffesion in bg spriting but i tougth i gave it a try here is a screen shot:

the ice thingys aren't realy embed into the background
and this freeze matters me too =(
this had potential to be a good bg

but the name somehow doesn't fit.... maybe it should be called ICE COLD NIGHT?

i assume you were looking off my BG tut
wanna say, its a lot better than your BG that you submitted to the contest XD
the sky looks fantastic, with the moon and the glow too.
the ground is also pretty good, though it should have some rough edges at the top so it looks more natural. also, try to add some mountains, or some sort of other background layer, OR you can make the ice in the foreground, bigger/higher.
the freeze should have animation, though its quite good, it still doesnt fit in.

looks good i like the sky and the ground but remove the ice it will look ways better without that or if you want to add the ice then improve them!maybe the moon should be big but it looks good.(just suggesting what you can fix up).

Maybe you could make moon bigger.
The ice looks cool, but you could maybe put something else. Like some columns.

Cool BG! 2 things to fix: 1 the ground doesn't really blend with the ice. 2 The freeze up there doesn't look very good. But for your first one really good.
