I tried to find out in Gimp but it becomes way to blurry even if I lower the %
I like doing my chars cartoony (they look very alive) :D

i first zoom to abt 500-600%...then use brush to put the darker shade on the edges....then use blur tool (brush size 3) and blur the dark shade....
btw i use photoshop cs2

Wow, Photoshop...
Everything for LF2 on Youtube is used on it...
Geez...to me Gimp is easier to use...
I might replace it though...idk...
Looks to hard to use...we have it too in our Art room...

Photoshop is actually better, i have both(GIMP 2.0 and Photoshop CS3)

its easy to use once you get used to it:).....if you have problems i think you should go through some tutorials....but the thing is that you get only trial versions for photoshop (as far as i know)....
