Advertising

Throughout the past few weeks, I've noticed a few cases of mods deleting/closing threads because of the "No advertising" rule.
Suddenly, I got a little curious and peeked inside the Forum Rules thread to see what exactly is forbidden in relation to advertising. I was quite surprised when, even though I read the text several times, I couldn't find anything that would imply a prohibition of advertising.

Now, if I missed something, I'd very much like if some moderator or admin point out the part which forbids advertising. If I am right though and the rules don't speak of this issue, then you should either consider adding this to the rules or leave people alone if they advertise.

you might have recognized that I`m not here a lot, so dont blame me what I write now

as far as i can see BP edited the forum rules on 15.01.2011 and deleted out some stuff to shorten it to the most important stuff. Well, but there`re still a few things we dont like here, one is adverticing another forum etc (cause this here is an active forum, so why do the guys have to move to another lf2-forum which is less active), another one is a very large signature. It happens rarely anytime, I just write pms to the guys then and in every case they changed their sig and it wasnt a problem anymore...

if this adverticing stuff rule is used quite often those days we might have to take it in again, we`ll discuss this...
