Well I made this in a contest, but I'm thinking of trying to turn it into a sheet.
There aren't a lot of Soul Eater sprites out there, so I might give it a try just for fun.

I played around with the arm a bit, I thought that looked pretty horrible in the original

Please give comments and criticism. I want to try and make the original stance perfect before I move on to other stuff.

Since you didn't link the first image properly I decided to do it so it's easier to see them side by side.

Make his head just a bit bigger. I saw some pics of him and you can see his smile in it
Also his belt should be higher up by like a pixel or so. He wears his pants up to his elbows lol.

I improved what you suggested:

But I'm actually thinking of going with the original stance and just fixing a few bits. The thing is, in the anime when he moves around and stuff his always goes underneath his collar.
