reading his first post again, I think he just wants a simple transformation when executing the "disappearing move" from rudolf, however I suspect he doesn't want 2 char files. So just the sprites change instead.
I think that is what he wants and after reading all the following posts in which he tries to explain, I feel that I am on the right track.
