Just a little suggestion... Make the cloud disappear on the right side instead of resizing it to the top-right corner. You could add some more transparency to the last frames to make the cloud disappear

But then the enemy won't be able to move... The point is gradual decrease whilst still going.

Oh and here another idea!!!
The opponent just gets hurt and falls down :o No erhm, I used henrys flute-itr for the smoke grenade in LFM, maybe you can make something like this too.

My suggestion:
An itr with vrest: 4 and injury 4 would deal dmg and disables the enemy to move.... enemy should not be able to move while geting poisoned, or just at the beginning, if you use an vrest: 10 the enemy would be able to escape first, but after 3 second the itr changes the vrest into vrest: 4.....
