he's gonna walk quite slow lol.
the running is kinda weird though
like his left foot is always up and his right foot is always back (they dont alternate)

Actually, they alternate, but it just looks like they don't ... o_0

or maybe because in the gif animation you only used 3 frames. Or so that's what it looks like in Adobe Fireworks.

Maybe make him run with his hands before his face instead of belly? Like in HF.

I'm still pretty bothered by the whole "no right-hand punches" thing.

Yes, a jab IS faster than a punch with your back hand, but it gets awkward when you're doing a volley of various different punches and an uppercut...all from the same hand.

Maybe if you made it so that he'd always use a jab or two first, then a right hand punch, THEN the uppercut.

Just using the right hand for special moves entirely takes it out of the regular punching progression.

Besides that, awesome character! The sprites look great!

I'm completely with you.

And besides, the jab doesn't show much speed in the sprites.. perhaps you should try adding an effect to it in the sprites.

Yeah, I already thought of it. In Boxing we name it "Southpaw stance". Really, this is a good idea, but in LF2 will it be usefull?

You know, LF2 is not a figthing simulation ... and in that kind of games, a big energy ball will be greeted better (and funnier) than a complex balancing system of speed and strenght.

Well ... many people said it already. So, should I change my mind?
Firstly, I think that's not a really important thing.
Secondly, maybe it's boring but i think fighting this way will give him personnality. I mean: He will not have energy balls or super powers or whatever. He will only use left and right punches... So may we let some suspense?
Plus, in boxing you can see a boxer using the lead hand three or four times before using his rear hand, therefore that's not that wierd x_X

I want to see it in game, and actually if it looks boring, i promise I will fix it ^^

I actually really liked that idea of your char performing all the strong punches with his right and the weak normal ones with his left...
like u already said it just makes him unique and different compared to other chars.
I would also like to see him dodge instead of jumping and you could also make him dodge into different directions by pressing j+direction keys.
