hm by the way how you guys learned this? just read any tutorials or by getting realized about the program language?
for example, it's interesting how simply work this walking (as simple basic example certainly)
advanced work it is something like that by bashcrazy

there aren't much bmp.datas to make this effect...so it's dc. i would be happy about a illustration or similar to this
Seriously, that is SO NOT advanced. All you have to do is set the "wait" correctly, dvx and dvy should be perfect and you're done.
The important parts about DC are:
-First, make sure you have Azriel's VFM(that should help a bit with those x,y tags)
-Understand correctly about the state and the basic frame(Ex: Louis dash punch will end up in frame 94, if you don't know that, you'll get confused)
-Learn how to calculate "the wait"(Not gonna explain since Azriel already explain it on mainsite)
You know, Doj, I used to be like you, not knowing anything at all. I couldn't sprite nor DC. After that, I have a bit of feeling DC is easier and I learn it ONLY with the help of a Data-Changer. Notice the differences in the frames, then ask yourself:
-Is the problem about the state or itr or....?
-Compare the speed in the game.
-Never give up unless how matter you try and couldn't find the answer, then search for help.
I recommend you study brick by brick like this:
-First, learn the basic moves like hit_Da, hit_Uj....
-Second, learn the effect in itr and state in the frame
-Third, learn about the basic points in c_point and the vaction
-Fourth, learn itr/kind and the frame that CAN NOT be change(if changed, it will crash and everything stop working properly)
-Fifth, start learning dvz, dvx and dvy, negative mp, negative next, negative wait, facing....
-Finally, if you think you're good, learn the key system, place holer...that MH-Razen posted on the mainsite.
As for the x,y in bdy, c-point, wpoint and itr, Azriel VFM would be perfect for calculating that.
Here's a file I have when I first try to learn the important parts of DC that I don't know, something you have to remember.
By the way, hope this helps. Happy coding!
This place motivates me to become an artist, this place motivates me to learn coding, this place made me grow up, showed me the ways to interact with people. Unlike the old childish of me myself, I've learned a lot and gotten some experiences. For me, it's not just a fan forum, it's a helpful community. From a noob to someone who would think before he speaks, looking back at my old post made me laugh hard, I'm grateful of the differences between these 2 years.
