From time to time, the server (aka. the thing lfe runs on) itself is not able to handle requests (=stuff you send such as posts or other information). This can be caused by many of such requests (then, the connection can time out because the server isn't able to respond in a set amount of time) or the server simply refuses to do a certain task because it can't touch this handle it. Error 500 (Internal Server Error) is just when something on the server-side goes wrong and isn't specified any further.

Actually, if you get an error-page (not connected to the internet, timeout, etc), just refresh [F5] and taste the rainbow, accept the dialog asking you if you want to send the data again, and you're done.
