An unusual fighter's romance (Click to View)
Lonely. One might feel like that along the journey to their dreams. I was no different, especially when one considers the 'special' circumstances my 'birth' has brought up. However there is something i found back then. Love. I never would have considered it, even if i knew how to deal with my problems. This is actually weird to talk about, but I might as well tell you the whole story. This is the story of an unusual fighter's romance.
In a dark, cold forest something very bizarre was about to happen. Following the path starting from the forest entrance one could see three shadows emerge. One bigger than the other two who stood pretty close together. The big shadow manifests itself into a big muscular guy, who pretty much looks like a demon of hell itself. The other two, a boy with spiky hair and a girl with tied-back hair, were closely watching every move of the demon. "Hand over the female and I may let you live!" the demon demanded. "I'll never let you lay a single finger on her... BECAUSE I LOVE HER" the boy replies. The girl behind the boy shrugs. "Oh... uhm, this is kind of akward... I see you more as a friend" the girl says.
"Oh screw this!" the boy screamed, taking two steps forward, and kicked the seemling hidden camera man off his seat. The camera man quickly leaped back while in mid-air, pulling out two katana. "Wanna fight, pretty boy?" the camera man whispered quietly. "Any time, Rudolf!" the boy with the spiky hair shouted. "Davis-honey, calm down, it's just a movie script" the girl said to the boy with spiky hair. "It's no use, Jane, he is out of control once again" the demon said, while he took off his head, revealing a blonde pack of hair ontop of a blue-eyed face. "Oi Louis, are you hitting on my girl again?" Davis raged. Louis, the blonde and charming one, just sighed at this rage outburst and took his leave.
"My, my, aren't we full of hot air again Mr. hot-head" a voice behind the group said. A femine character appeared right where Louis disappeared. "John.. you!" red-faced Davis mumbled. "Yes, yes I think we will call it quits for today and hit the next bar, that sound like a deal?" John asked Davis. "uhm.. I guess so." a surprised Davis answered. Everyone else agreed too. So the group of four continues quietly to the next bar.
"Oh haven't seen'n yer faces in damn long time,haven't I" Mark the bar tender greeted the group."Yo Mark ya old dog, still trainin' ya muscles?" Davis said to the big hill of muscles. "Ya know, even if I stopped fightin' a long time ago, mah muscles still have the big use for it!!" Mark said while handing over the drinks to Davis & the others. "I feel ya, I'm totally heated up for weeks now, no action whatsoever. It's like I am getting too soft because I got a gal now." Davis said to the manyl bartender Mark. "ahem.. honey.." Jane coughed angrily at Davis. "I.. uhm.. woops?" Davis asked patting the back of his head. "It's not what you think.. I mean.. uhm. I enjoy being with you.. but I am a fighting beast at heart." Davis continued. "So your heart does belong to fighting and not to me??" Jane asked anxiously. "I uhm... that's not it.. " Davis claimed. "Shouldn't we help him?" Rudolf asked John. "No, I'd like to see how far he digs himself into this mess" John replied with a smirk on his face. "That's it, i need a break from this!" Jane shouted, turned around and was walking away. "wait, where are you...?" Davis asked before Jane interrupted him "To the bathroom!" She said. "oh jesus christ! if looks could kill." Davis whispered as soon as Jane was gone.
"What a jerk." Jane said to herself and the mirror reflection of herself. "That's just how men are, sweetie" a voice behind Jane said. "Who.. who is there?" Jane said and looked in every corner of the bathroom. There was nobody here except her. "I am over here, silly" the voice said leading Jane to a small basket near the closet. "A pendant? I think the drink is getting to me already.. " Jane said to herself. "Worry not my dear, it's not the power of alcohol which confuses your mind, I am a magic pendant, here to protect you from any harm, if you just put me on!" the pendat spoke to Jane. "Aww.. what the heck, it looks beautiful, I might as well put it on" Jane said to herself. Somewhere deep inside the pendant a dark ghost started to smirk. Jane put the pendant on and looked at herself in front of the mirror. From this point on Jane had no more memories.
"You know what this reminds me off? The good old days. When Firen and Freeze were still around." Rudolf said to the other two. Rudolf, Davis & John were still sitting at the bar and had their fourth drink by now. Soon they started to talk about earlier days. "if.. if only I had been stronger.." Davis said to John, swinging his drink in front of John's nose. "I know buddy, but they would have ended up that way sooner or later" John claimed. "Why did they have to turn evil anyways?" Rudolf bursted out. "I guess it has to do with the twist in their minds. Firen and Freeze always had different points of view on everything. Firen was a similar hot-head like Davis, but Freeze always kept it cool. So even though they were brothers they were like shadow & light. I guess it's no wonder their combined mind turned wicked." John explained. "Hate to budge into yer smartassery, but isn't that ya chick ther, Davis?" Mark interrupted pointing at the entrance door. "Jane! Honey wait for me!" Davis shouted and ran after her.
On the other side of the entrance door Davis was finally able to catch up with Jane. "Look sweetie.. I'm sorry for what I said earlier, I'm a numbskull okay." Davis apologized. Jane turned around with an evil glim in her eyes. "Leave me alone, lowly human insect!!" She screamed and slaped Davis. Jane didn't stop there though, instead she kicked him back into bar with one sweep. "Rotten humans, I'll burn them alive" She screamed and laughed out loudly and then charged an dark aura in her right palm, just to fire it into the roof of Mark's bar. She kept laughing and laughing until she heard somebody behind her. "Pretty nice fireworks you got there, young lady." a dark mysterious voice said. "I assume you are most powerful evil being on this world?" the evil Jane asked. "I suppose you can say so. My name is Julian. And I have to admit, I actually have been looking for you, Nosferetta" the mysterious man said. "And what business would you have with me?" Nosferetta asked anxiously. "Well of course, conquering the world and no less." Julian answered with a big, evil grin on his face. "Very well, I'll follow you then" Nosferetta called out. "This way then, mylady"
At the same time I was still training in Julian's castle, I was determined to surpass him finally on this very day. "This trainings program is not enough for me anymore, though" I said to myself. "I can't let Julian know how much I have developed either" I thought while smacking the last of the virtual fighters Julian set up for me. Suddendly somebody knocked on the door to the training room. One of Julian's minions rushed in. "General Firzen, terrible news! Lord Julian returned with a human girl!" he said to me."Calm down, little fellow, what's wrong with him bringing anything here?" I replied to him. "If my information source is correct, it looks like he is bringing Jane with him!" Julian's minion cried. "Jane?? okay I'll check it out for you!" I replied furiously and rushed to the door.
"That idiot! What is he thinking??" I thought while i was running down the hall. Soon I came across a group of knights who were on their patrol. "General Firzen, what's the matter??" they asked me, but I simply ignored them. "Move it! I'll explain later!" I said to them. It didn't take me any longer until I reached the entrace gate. I made it just in time, Julian was already here. "my lord!" I said and thought "Jackass!" at the same time. "Ah.. Firzen, we have a little guest here which might just help us conquer the world in no time." "In all honesty my lord and excuse my rude behavior, but how can this b*tch be of any use to us?" I said with gleaming eyes. "My, my isn't he a charming one.." the one I without a doubt thought to be Jane said. "She is not what you think she is, Nosferetta a ghost keept prison for a long time, took this girl as her vessel." Julian said to me. I was surprised. So much I couldn't hide it. "Isn't he a cutie when he is surprised" Nosferetta said to herself. "I am not sure what you are talking about, but Firzen be on your guard, the idiot fighters will surely be on their way here. Hit'em where it hurts okay?" Julian ordered me. "Yes sir!" I replied.
Not very far away from Julian's castle Davis finally opened his eyes. "Ugh, where is this, what happened?" He said out loud. "Oh god, finally you are awake, we were ready for the worst! Oi guys, Davis is awake!" Louis cried out. Rudolf and John appeared from what seemed to be an entrance. "Where am I?" Davis asked. "Well you are currently in a tent near Julian's castle." John replied. "uhm.. so what exactly happened?" Davis asked again. "We are not exactly sure what happened but the facts are: Jane turned evil, blew up the bar, right after kicking you in there, then teamed up with Julian. We were just about to go in and get her back from there, when you came to." Rudolf answered. "I see.. so you guys actually carried me from Marks's bar to this place here? I gotta give you my thanks, leave the rest to me!" Davis replied with strong confidence. "That sounds like something an idiot like you would say." a voice up ahead said while coming close and closer. It was boy with grey hair and slick pants. "Dennis, I don't see how this is any of your business" Davis said to the grey-haired boy. "Sure but it's just another mess you get us into. Seriously you can't even keep your girlfriend under control, how are you going to defeat Julian? Are you blind?" Dennis said furiously to Davis. "I'm going anyways.." Davis said, stood up and left the tent. He was already running towards the castle's entrance when the others finally caught up to him.
I was the first one to spot them. A group of four people. Davis, Dennis, Rudolf & John. I had expected more of them, truly they are insane. "Heh you are either very brave or just particularly stupid to come here with this small number of fighters." I said to greet them. "Firzen you jackass! You will pay for everything today!!" Davis screamed. "Rudolf, John you go after Julian, let me and Davis handle him!" Dennis said to the other two. "As if I would let-" I tried to say but was interrupted by a furious Davis' dragonpunch trying to hit me. I had no time for a break, Dennis was already leaping at me from behind. Quickly I dashed away, only to come back once again to catch Dennis' leg. I threw him into Davis' face. "Damnit Dennis, watch it!" Davis screamed at Dennis. "Oh shut up, a**-face, like i wanted to land into you!" Dennis screamed back. "You guys are pathetic" I said to them. "I guess we have no choice, Davis" Dennis suddendly said with signs of remorse in his face. "Alright" Davis replied. They ran towards each other, both charging their energy to the maximum. Somehow this seemed terribly familiar to me.
"We are pretty close, I can already smell him" Rudolf said to John while both of them started to dash even faster. "Yeah, but remember, we just have to keep him busy, until those two defeat Firzen. Then we take Jane and get the hell outtta here." John replied. "My, my so Firzen is as incompetent as always." a voice said behind the two of them. "Julian! Prepare for the worst!!" John shouted. Rudolf already charged at him, both katana in his hands, ready to strike any minute. John formed an energy disk and threw it at Julian. Rudolf dashed but Julian was able to block it. John's disk however followed, quickly Rudolf jumped onto it and tried again, beheading the surprised Julian in the process. "Did we do it?" John cried out. "Very nice tactic, you just should have hit me with that." Julian said behind them and then knocked them down. It was an illusion, Julian's speciality no less.
After Dennis and Davis ran into each other, a new fighter appeared. "Ahhhhh, you can call me Woody. You are going to meet your end here, Firzen-boy" he said to me. I couldn't even react, he was so fast, and before I realized it I was already flying towards the wall. Before hitting the wall, I quickly catched myself. "Okay, eat this then! FIIIIIIIRZEN CANNON" I said and created a yellow beam with both my hands and shot it in Woody's direction. Woody's reaction was the least i expected. He kneeled down, and charged energy in his feet. "Tigerdaaaaash!!!" Woody screamed and unexpectedly was dashing through my beam. I had to evade it, so I broke up the beam. "Damnit, how persiestent can someone be" I said to myself. It was then when something unexpected happened. "Having fun, boys?" Julian said suddendly standing in the middle of us, holding Jane hostage. "Julian, what are you- " I started to shout at him. "She didn't obey me so I have to kill her now! AHAHAHA" Julian screamed and charged one of his skull blasts on her. "NOOOO JANE" Woody & I screamed. This was an akward moment. "Why did you-" Woody started to say, but I interrupted him and said "I don't even know that myself."
So we teamed up, I helped them getting Jane back. They broke the pendant, so I can never see Nosferetta again. This was the first time I experienced love. Pretty weird huh? What else would one expect from an unusual fighter's romance.
