Can someone unmole box 2 games for me?
#11
Well, I was asking anyone to do it, Im not gonna pass it on to anyone, and besides, if the person I ask does do it, and they do keep it, why wouldnt they do it in the first place?
[But still, I wouldnt give it to anyone, since I want it for my own use, not anyone elses]

it's not the original person keeping it that is the problem, it's the possibility that they may link it to someone else who may link it to someone else that uses the files in a modification, and the modification is released - type of scenario - that is the problem

yes we live in a maybe-perhaps-maybe-something-bad-will-happen world.

But, what if the file is deleted? After I download the unmoleboxed version, then no one could touch it ever again.

...Unless one of the people who gets it before it's taken down decides to reupload it somewhere, or share it with a friend, etc.

But, it wouldnt be quick and simple? Like..lets say I pm someone, and they finish un mole boxing it, then they give me the link, Ill pm them back, so that they know that it is deleted, wouldnt the problem be solved? Also, who would find out about the link anyway?

We aren't going to unmolebox it for you. You seem trustworthy enough, but we can't go around making exceptions just because people seem trustworthy. They moleboxed their mods so the sprites wouldn't be used outside of those mods. So we aren't going to undo that, because that goes against the whole point of them moleboxing their stuff.

But alot of people dont want their own sprites to be taken from their own mods, yet they dont molebox their games, it gets me confused sometimes.

DON'T take credit for other people's work. And don't distribute moleboxed sprites, because that'd make it more likely for other people to plagiarize.

That said, we can't stop you from finding a way to unmolebox something for personal use. It's just that we aren't going to help, because of what we said earlier.

But I said I wasnt going to even plagiarize it and why would I give the sprites to other people, when i only want them to myself, only noobs make those crappy recolors with over-powered moves.
I just want to take maybe like 4 characters and put them in a regular lf2 mod because I cant add other characters to bx-lf2, thats all.
