yay, and update!
Uh, he moves quite fast... probably these two frames are too different, they start looking like if they were two totally different images, so it doesn't look very fluent. Might be that it just looks strange in the gif and not in the original version but here, it looks weird...

Oh just thought of one thing... I used GIMP a bit when I made Keyro, and somehow the computer itself added an Alpha channel. Since I am new to GIMP I don't know how to remove it. Do you know how to do? It's very annoying to see a bunch of tiles instead of black...

If it is like in Photoshop, you'll find the Alpha Channels next to the layers palette. I personally don't have so much experience with GIMP, so my help might be a little... yea...
I found this link, it might be useful: http://www.gamedev.net/community/forums/..._id=299229

Thanks! *You are thanked*
EDIT: Oops! I didn't see Gad's post. No, I like the way it is. It would just result in an 3p1k ph3yl (epic fail) To do that I've gotta train more in faces.

An interesting idea, I think the punch animation will look more fluent though if you add more attacks after it. If you are going to use just one punch I would suggest a slower transition between frames.
