To be perfectly frank, I won't believe such a discovery until 1), the discoverer has announced their identity and 2), that this alien is confimed not to be terrestrial by external sources.
Another thing to keep in mind is that the Egyptian royal family kept their bloodline pure by inbreeding (marriage between sister and brother was not uncommon), and many genetical defects from inbreeding has been known. It could feasibly be a royal child, or an unusually short individual with other deformities.
Simple way would be to run some kind of DNA analysis. That would show whether it's human or not.

What's more unbelievable is that these "aliens" look just the way we have imagined and saw in the T.V. I mean, i don't think "aliens with human feature and brain" really exists. Maybe some alien which look totally different than us, thats possible (Alien cell and plants). But aliens with UFO's and laser guns are .... well lets say imaginary.

Unless they're an extremely high-developed 'ascended' species, which then takes on a form we can identify them with, to seek contact :P

How come? "Powered" doesn't necessarily mean "fully coming from", its just an addition to strengthen the fact. ergo, more reliable. Lets just wait for more info about that. Maybe its just an ugly human or something. Since the old egyptian culture was sorta advanced at medical stuff, maybe this was a result of an experiment that has something to do with genetic engineering or something like that.
