About time: 2 days is enough imo, reserve the place only if you already have time and motivation, not only because you have an idea.
Content: Well, i think everyone will know when story becomes boring and need change, but you can specify it.
Order: After posted page, you have to wait for two another members, and then you can post again.

But how about we actually have a fixed queue? That way we'd avoid all kinds of confusion.

So what with that? As i see, so far Luti want random order with reservations, Lauli prefer fixed queue, and i don't really care about it. Someone else want to join and write own opinion? Because if we choose option with queue, firstly will be need to make the list of participants.

i think random with reservations is the better option because then the more active members can do their pages while others can take their time or draw when they have time.

We could simply add a, let's say, 24 hours time limit for every participant. If somebody takes longer than 24 hours, the next one in the queue is supposed to draw the scene. But actually I'm against reserving places, as one could just hold up the whole momentum of the thread (similar to the Stickman forum game).
With a rather short time limit and no reserving I can really see this thread going.
And I just prefer the fixed queue more, as prevents ninja'ing (similar to the Stickman forum game again) and it might make rather inactive members a little more active.

Oh yeah.. right.. uh, well.. i just wanted to give you free hand, to avoid contradictions later. And actually it was Luti's idea, not mine.
I don't have anything clever to say more. Lauli has good arguments, so i think we can chose option with queue. I also agree with 24h time limit. Oh, but if you know, you won' be able to make your page, simply post information about it, to avoid stoopping game.
A mentioned earlier list of participants looks like that:

edit: if everything is fine, i'll add rules and list of players to first post, and we can start. And something about the story: do you prefer something like Luti's "Dreaming a Siren" - one main char, or something more similar to typical skecth battle, with own charcter of every player?
