For now we can wait till 26 October and wish LF2 works in it!

But since LF2 runs on Win8 release previews, it should run on the real Win8 as well.

So I installed Windows 8 on my Laptop and just encountered an error message when trying to run LF2.

An error message said: The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect

Here is how I fixed the problem:

>Go to the Control Panel (go with the cursor the the bottom right corner, click on Settings, then on Control Panel)
>Uninstall the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Redistributable (if installed)
>Download and install this version http://support.focus-home.fr/vcredist_x86.exe

I'm aware that its just like this fix but now I can confirm it works like a charm on Windows 8.

Little fighter 2 will work but not all versions of lf2 or mods like DR lf2 it doosent work on win 8

happy news, that it will work for win 8 also, it would really suck if it wouldnt work like some other games that get very bugy if not used with the right operating system....
