Power to the ladies!

:)
Hello everyone! :D

So I've just registered with Little Fighter Empire Forums... and I found a few threads which said there weren't enough female characters.

There are some good characters, but they are very few...

So the point of this thread is to make other LF2 character creators become aware of this certain... lack of content. :p

I am about to start my very first character, of which I will attempt to make the sprites and program the data myself! :'(

In case you have any advice to offer, I am going to use Rammichael's LF2 Data Changer and Paint on Windows 7 (I'm aware as Paint is a stock program it may not be the best... Xd ).

But I'm sure I'll find all the things I need from all the helpful threads which have been written by you guys! :D

Anyway, I hope you consider this! Thank you for reading! You may go to the following extended section if you wish to see a little hidden desire I have... haha! Grin

EXTENDED:

One idea I have for a future character - who is not fictional - is the rather enchanting French singer Mylène Farmer!

However, this is a character I will only start when I become VERY good at painting sprites - as a big fan of her's, I'd like it to be a worthy "tribute", if you catch my drift. ;)

I was considering painting her as her Libertine character, seeing as she has a gun (and sometimes depicted as having a sword).

Anyway, the picture attached below is a profile I came up with of her (not the Libertine character) using Facemaker 3.1. It may not be very accurate, but it may give me (or even you!) an idea of how to start a sprite of her. It's just an idea! :D

Instead of making her directly I would suggest basing your character on her. For the spriting part, I suggest you check out Gad's Flash template.
I also think it'd be pretty cool, like a sound wave controlling character, somewhat like Sindel from Mortal Kombat.

And I guess this thread should be in projects?

Good idea! It's like a few of the Anakin Skywalker characters which I saw - they're good, but they aren't the most original really... no offense meant to their creators, I still think they did a good job! :p

And I'll check out that link. Thank you, RtXaS! I'm also going to look up Sindel. :D

(I missed the "Projects" section... what a looney! Haha! Can I move this thread easily enough?)

Threads can only be moved to another forum by a staff member.

Thank you Dr. Time! I'll contact them now. ^_^
Anyway! If anyone else has ideas or new/current female character projects to share, please feel free to do so here - we're all listening! ^_^
Here are the female characters I found on the Little Fighter 2 character file database:

http://www.lf-empire.de/lfe-fileplanet/c.../751-julia

http://www.lf-empire.de/lfe-fileplanet/c.../717-ether

http://www.lf-empire.de/lfe-fileplanet/c...t/403-taki

http://www.lf-empire.de/lfe-fileplanet/c...369-mahoro

http://www.lf-empire.de/lfe-fileplanet/c.../312-bluna

My personal favourite here is Bluna because she can change weapons on the spot, although Ether added a very interesting style by flying about. However, I didn't quite work out how she was supposed to be defeated...

So, there are only 5 female characters out of roughly 191 characters - that's a pretty small ratio! What do you think?

Post your upcoming projects of female characters here, or any thoughts on the matter! ^_^

Here's another one I found in the LFE forums! Her name is Sile, the Crimson Princess (version 1.10)!

With an array of dark, soul-based attacks and the ability to drain health and even "batransform", this has to be my new favourite.

Here is a link to the creator's revelation of Sile:

The following is important as well - you must have the following file in your LF2 directory to be able to give custom characters an A.I.:
