Davis Can Do a Slide if D>A is pressed while Running.
If Davis is hit during the third punch, the uppercut will go very high than usual.
A player can hold a bottle (example: Beer) he can drink while running and stopping the drink immediately he can do a slide, thus creating bottle sliding technique :P.

Dude I think you mean:
When Louis uses whirlwind throw, and Deep uses Up Chop(wat?) Louis's whirlwind throw doesn't get interrupted but he takes damage and does fly, but Louis will fly along with caught Deep/Anyone else he catched thus he does a flying whirlwind throw

Some AI facts (I'm not an AI programmer, I know all that by learning their behaviour). They arn't actually some, but many, so I devided them to 3 sections:
Bottles and garbbing items:
- AI won't try to grab a beer if they have high Mana. It doesn't have to be full. They will try to take a beer if their mana gets close to half gauge, probably even higher.
(* Enemies in Stage Mode have MP.)
- When an AI drinks, they won't stop even if you're close to them. The only exception is Rudolf, but only when he disappears and only if you're standing at the same spot where he is.
- On Easy and Normal, AI that grabs a bottle actually won't drink it and will come towards you, as long as you stand close enough. Be careful, because some of them will start to make attacks. If you're too far, They will drink eventually; However, on Difficult and CRAZY!! they will run away from you until they feel safe to drink. I might post here a GIF with a brief explanation about a trick abusing that.
- If you don't stand at the same Y scale (up-down scale) with an AI, as long as you don't stand right above them, they will try to grab the nearest item and become easy target for attacks. A known trick is to stand behind an item, waiting for the enemy to run towards it, catching them before they grab it with a projectile with a dash or anything else. Kinda cheap, but f**k it.
- If you DO stand at the same Y scale with an AI, they won't try to grab an item (even if it'sat the row as you both). However, if another friend is standing closer X-sacle-wise (left-right scale) but in a different Y scale, the AI will ignore you and will try to grab the nearst item, even if you're practically standing closer then him (XY-wise).
- When Sorcerer grabs a bottle, he tends to shoot ice balls to the upper edge of the map, regardless of your position and distance. He will eventually stop and drink if you're too far. This fact applies for all of the difficulties, but more to Difficult and CRAZZY!!.
- Rudolf's clones don't try to grab bottles at all.
- When John casts a shield, the other team's AIs won't try to grab any items, regardless to anything (they might however grab one, if they're standing on an item when trying to punch). Freeze's whirlwind work as well, but only works against close enemies that take it as a threat. Use that to protect your bottles!
Archers [Hunter, Henry and Rudolf (Yes, he is an archer for this matter)]:
- Henry, Rudolf and Firzen tend to be a bit smarter than other characters: they will block attacks and jump from a fall more often than the others. It's still relatively rare though. As far as I've experienced, Hunter is not smart like them, but take in mind that I didn't have too much opportunities to see if that's correct because he dies easily. But I'm certain enough that I'm right.
I know Firzen is not an archer, but it ralates to the topic.
- When an archer takes a weapon, he will come closer for a melee range, but will suck at directions, often hitting at the wrong one. This is probably because they're programmed to take a distance from you, so they want to be close to you but be far from you at the same time, leading the mentioned above to happen.
Also, when you stand at their spot (even if they don't hold a weapon). They will try to hit you, but again fail at directions. They will eventually run to take a distance from you.
- For some reason, Jan's AI acts like an archer woldong a weapon. I have no idea why is that! So if she dies alot in your team, now you know the reason.
- As mentioned above, On Easy and Normal an AI that grabs a bottle wond't drink and will come towards you. Melee fighters will stand at your spot, but archers will take a distance. That means that a fighter that grabs a bottle will stand at his battle position (Yu-Gi-Oh pun not intended). Jan will also take a distance, but will stand closer to you comparing to the 3 archers.
Other:
-AI doesn't recognize the Firetrail from Firen's Firerun, causing them to walk towards it under the right circumstances.
- They also can't sense Henry's flute range, causing them to go towards it like idiots. However, archers' fighting spot is outside of the range, so there's no guarantee that they wil go inside. It's still possibles if they come with running and breaking while it's too late.
- If you shoot a projectile over an AI, they will automaticly try defend it regardless of their Y scale untill it passes them. However, If they shoot a projectile of their own, they will feel safe enough to ignore yours until they stand close enough to it. Use that to gain more time to drink.
- When an AI is blocked by an obstacle (Box, Rose, Icicle and a frozen character), they will punch it (or runattack if they're blocked while running) until they get past through it. You can use that to make your enemies hit their frozen friends. D:
- John, Sorcerer and Jan actually sense when they or their close friends have low HP (bleeding), triggering their heal move. So if you run on low HP, go to you healer to gain a fast boost of your HP!
- When Woody is bleeding, he will tend to teleport more often, usually to his friends, but also towards enemies.
- When commanding on your friends to stay, some characters will still try to help you: Those who can will shoot chasing projectiles and very rarly anyone who can will shoot regular projectiles (D>A) (I mostly remember seeing only fireballs, probably because it's very fast). If you command Woody to stay, he will teleport to you (D^J teleports to the closest enemy, DVJ teleports to the farrest friend).
Well, that's all I can't think about right now. I have more facts with the bottle trick thingy, but I need to post a GIF first. I personally benefited from all of that information for my strategy and play-style, and I hope you will as well.

Soldiers in stage mode that seem to have infinite lives actually just have 50.
You can do COME by pressing Defend+Jump simultaneously twice, and similarly MOVE by pressing Defend+Attack simultaneously twice.
Adding to T@L's AI factoids, there's a sweet spot distance from an archer AI where if you stand at that distance behind them they'll just gormlessly stand in place. When an enemy in stage mode tries to pick up a milk, but there's a beer in reach of them, 99% of the time they'll unintentionally pick up the beer instead of the milk, even if it's farther away. This is because M&S always put beer after milk in the phase descriptions in stage.dat.

For the first second,Firen's fire run is vulnerable and can be stopped.
Knight can carry a weapon while using his sword by pressing D>A.

You can do it when drinking and even when doing a continuous attack (fireren, firebreath, whirlwind kick, kamehameha and the rest, if any)!

Well to add to T@l's list I'm pretty sure that most of the time the AI will stop defending an incoming projectile if you just run towards them, or is it if you turn around? I forgot xD , i just know that i always do that in Survival with a good success :P
Either way you know or i update/confirm it the next time i play Survival..

This is more about the characters but:
In Marti's old MS DOS RPG game, "Davis' Adventure", Louis and Woody became two of many villain characters fought as bosses. (Usually more than one bosses at once)
(In the upper row from left to right: Davis, Dennis, John, Thomas and Tony)
If you idle for too long Jack will get angry.
Davis, Dennis and John were 3 of the party members you get, the other 2 being "Tony" and "Thomas" which has to be fought first before having them join, like Bat and LouisEX in stage 5. John was the only character capable of healing.
Deep, John, Henry, Jack, Firen, Freeze, Bat and Mark are also featured in Marti's games before LF1.
Also about LF2:
If you shoot an ice blast at Firzen in such precise timing, the ice blast will hit Firzen when he just finished preparing for the explosion, meaning that he no longer has state 7 which allows the ice blast to freeze him, and the next instant the explosion appears and hits Firzen.

Henry can shoot arrows while dashing and facing the opposite direction and pressing attack.
You can grab a weapon by rolling on it and pressing attack at the same time, but it doesn't work for Rudolf .
Bat,Justin,Jack and Julian can do their skills while running while LouisEX and Firzen can't.
Jack's Super punch or >>A deals damage to mutiple enemies.
Yeah 1 star up!!
