Blue Phoenix: Not with me you won't, not today.
Blue Phoenix uses his knife and bluntly stabs the door. Nothing happens.
Blue Phoenix: Screw that, you're going down, buddy.
He takes a few steps back and then charges at the door in an attempt to break it down. (Door BRK Modifier: 50 - 2*STR Modifier) (BRK Roll: 92) It immediately gives in and due to his large momentum Blue Phoenix falls to the ground along with the door, in fact onto the door. The first thing he notices is dust spreading in the whole room, which is almost fully covered in webs. This room must already be older than the building itself.
Quickly, he takes a few steps forward and approaches the chest. While dusting off his armor from webs and some little harmless spiders, he opens the chest and glares inside.
You find a Mysterious Blade!
Without further hesitation, Blue Phoenix turns and leaves the room, heading towards the back exit. While trying to get to the meeting point, Nave already expects him in the corner of the corridor.
Nave: Move it, they're coming any second now!
Blue Phoenix reunites with the group without further interruptions. As they attempt to leave through the back entrance door, Nave suddenly halts.
Nave: My senses are tingling...
Bamboori: Could you maybe make us understand what you mean by that again?
An answer is moot, as the group hears some faint talking through the door.
??? (1): I don't know, man. I find this quite useless. They'd be pretty stupid if they still were here, after Master Jaden promised to return and cut their throats. They're gone!
??? (2): Shut up. No, really. You were at fault for this incident as well. Now it's your responsibility to make sure Master Jaden is safe.
??? (3): Maybe you guys should cut it out, if they're still inside they might hear us and hide.
??? (2): So what? They have nowhere to go. The main troop is sweeping the building from the main entrance, they cannot escape. They're doomed. Now, quit japping and continue barricading the door!
Simon's look at the other party members is responded with a lot of grim facial expressions. So, a fight apparently is unavoidable, the question remains, shall they charge outside directly without knowing the exact amount of opponents lurking at the outside of the door or will there be a more tactical approach of taking guards out to escape the estate?
