also you need a LOT of mana for your dark spell
Can't we?

I would like to remember that I have a bunch of ice-elemental spells...

we can try that, but the river current is really strong, so freezing even parts of it would be quite a hassle. i think we should rather ditch that leg quest for now and look what new stuff we can find

Actually, an ice bolt (or two in that matter) won't suffice to freeze an entire part of the river. I believe this discussion had already been held once. I'll check back the pages and add the link once I found it.

OMG, stuff I wrote 4 years ago! it's so strange to read it :D aaaaaanyways, isn't there any other bridge to cross that river?

You should also have a look at the map however :p the river you want to cross is in the southwest part (between Germany and England Caves) and you're quite somewhere else right now

Bamboori learns Arrow Crafting (Level 1)!

The group first decides to rest for a while, as the past few hours haven't been a cakewalk to any of them. SirFrog lights the bonfire and they all sit together around the fire, holding their hands and clothes into its soothing warmth. Bamboori and snorsorbet even manage to hunt down a few little animals for the group to eat. Not a luxury menu, but still a very welcome treat.
After a two hour rest (the sky is slowly turning dark), a sudden cracking noise startles the group. Everybody reaches for their weapons, ready to strike at any foe that might emerge from the bushes. Their suspense reaches its peak when suddenly there's another unidentifiable noise behind them. As they quickly spin around, relief ensues, as two familiar figures appear from behind a rather large treetrunk.

??? (1): Call us Sparksy...
??? (2): ...and Butch.
Sparksy: The unbeatable duo.
Butch: We're looking out for numero uno.
Sparksy: When you cross the line... your nuts are mine.
Butch: Sparksy...
Sparksy: ...and Butch.
Butch: The unbeatable duo.
Blue Phoenix: Thank God it's just you two.
SirFrog: Hey guys. What brings you here?
Sparksy: Well, you know, we're adventurers...
Butch: ...so we travel a lot...
Sparksy: ...traverse the seas...
Butch: ...cross the mountains...
Sparksy: ...voyage the forests...
Nave: It's ok, guys, I doubt he wanted to know it that exactly.
snorsorbet: So, apparently we just happen to meet a couple times a day, eh? That actually sounds like stalking to me...
Sparksy: Us? No way! We're honorable.
Butch: The honorable duo.
Nave: (Previously, they were still the 'unbeatable' duo...)
Sparksy: In any case, I see you were able to get your friend out of slavehood. Good job.
Drahcir: Well, I heard it's partially been your work as well, so thank you too.
Butch: Just doing our job!
Sparksy: After all, we're the honorable duo.
Phil: Meeoow meow!
snorsorbet: Translation... ... ...er, I'd better not translate that.

Sparksy suddenly thrusts his quarterstaff into the ground.

Sparksy: So! Enough chit-chat! Who's up next?
Blue Phoenix: Excuse me? Up for what?
Butch: You know. Duelling.
Sparksy: We always duel our adversaries.
Simon: Eh, when did we become 'adversaries', exactly?
Nave: I see... you want to test us yet again, don't you?
Butch: Never can have enough experience. You might even learn a thing or two.
Drahcir: Well, I'm not sure if we should rather save our strength, I feel that hard times are coming up...
Butch: Don't worry, Sparksy will patch you guys up after the fight. Isn't that right?
Sparksy: ... y-yes, yes, totally, Butch. That's right. Of course.
Blue Phoenix: Well, that's a different story then...

I'd love to! Is it a 2v2? then we should go for a ranged mage and close combat fighter
