SirFrog: Ah, THAT. Well, technically, they aren't really logs

As Blue Phoenix presses on, SirFrog suddenly pulls out a piece of wood and holds it into the cold flame of the blue torch.

Nave: You lunatic! I'm holding this freaking thing in my hand!!
Bamboori: Relax, it seems like nothing happened...
SirFrog: I'm afraid so. *makes a grim expression*

The group decides to continue the corridor to its end. Surprisingly, after not so many steps, they mutually feel a sudden chill going down their spines.

Bamboori: Whoa. What was that?
Drahcir: It suddenly got a lot colder.
snorsorbet: This place creeps me out...
Nave: Pff, you're a bunch of wimps, this has absolutely no effect on me!
SirFrog: Are you so sure about that...
Nave: *sneezes*
Blue Phoenix: Oh crap.
Simon: What is it?
Blue Phoenix: Look at this sh*t.

They look around hastily and find themselves at another 4-way intersection.

The cave's dark cloak encloses the group eerily.

Bamboori: Let's take the left path now, perhaps?

Blue Phoenix shrugs, then Simon simply walks ahead. The others follow him, not having any better ideas. After a small right and left turn, Nave shudders.

Nave: There!
Drahcir: Huh?
Nave: There it was again... and it's gone again.
Simon: You should go see a doctor sometime.
snorsorbet: Actually, Phil says now he's also felt... something.
Blue Phoenix: Keep your eyes and ears open. Let's proceed.

Just a little while later there seems to be another right turn, beyond which a very long straight path seems to extend into infinity. Far in the distance they can make out a small cyan glimmer.

SirFrog: Actually, I'm not feeling too well anymore either. Shall we keep exploring this path or rather turn back?
Nave: What are you so afraid of?
SirFrog: Maybe of whatever it is that you've been sensing on and off for a while now?
Nave: Nothing to be afraid of. Magic is your friend.
Bamboori: I agree.

PS: Just to make it clear, the map scales aren't 1 to 1, so one square isn't always the same distance across the whole map.
