Bamboori suggests going right, but Nave intercepts.

Nave: No, these intersections are simply illusions, we mustn't fall for them, straight all the way!
SirFrog: Need to agree here.

snorsorbet doesn't say anything. Bamboori grumbles and then agrees as well. The group continues on straight. They don't walk much further, however, until they hear a cracking sound that almost pierces their ears. The icy floor beneath them slowly gives in, and each group member tries to save themselves jumping backwards.
(DEX Threshold: 75-5*DEX Modifier, 1-100) (DEX Roll: Bamboori 83, SirFrog 62, Nave 70, snorsorbet 21)

Bamboori, being the most agile of the group, easily manages to save himself quickly, whereas Nave and SirFrog have more trouble but still barely manage to avoid falling in with the breaking floor. Only snorsorbet, the unsuspecting little snorbet, doesn't react fast enough and cannot jump off in time. However, beneath the floor there turns out to be not a pit, but blue liquid. snorsorbet drops into the liquid with all the remaining icy floor parts. Freezing cold.

snorsorbet: ...

Bamboori doesn't hesitate and quickly moves closer to the liquid, holding his arm out towards snorsorbet who quickly grabs on. He however feels that snorsorbet's grip is too weak to hold himself on, so Bamboori pulls him out with all his force.

snorsorbet: ...S...s...sh... it's f-free-ezing...
SirFrog: It's alright, you're safe.
Bamboori: Dead end beyond this 'new lake'. Told you so.
Nave: Oh shut up.

Blue Phoenix: This door doesn't deserve to exist in this shallow world. TAKE IT DOWN!

Blue Phoenix rushes at the door and throws himself onto it with all his might. (STR Threshold: 95-3*STR Modifier, 1-100) The moment he hits the door (STR Roll: 55), his shoulder shatters. Blue Phoenix lets out a battlecry, his own impulse launching him backwards to the floor.

Simon: Phoenix! Don't die on us now!!!
Blue Phoenix: It is too late... but before I go... ...come closer... ...
Drahcir: What is it?
Blue Phoenix: No... I AM your father.
Simon: This is no time for stupid jokes!

Blue Phoenix grabs Simon's arm, who helps him get back onto his feet.

Drahcir: Well, gargoyles caught up quite a bit, I have a feeling we should rather leave this door and just get the hell out of here...
Blue Phoenix: And what if there's a dead end in the room they're chasing us into?
Simon: What if there's a dead end behind this door you're trying to crush?
Blue Phoenix: Touché. But wait, I'm not done with this stupid door!
Drahcir: I don't think we have enough time to tear this door down, but it's your own choice. I'm not going to wait for you.

see, you would have never found that interesting blue liquid trap of doom without me :3 and who knows, this mysterious blue liquid might give us super powers if we drink it... or it might kill us... I dunno, but I'm tempted to try it out
