We have to decide whether we should or should not delete original characters from the mod, and we would like to hear some opinions on this.

Committment is a big word. You can make stuff for the mod if you feel like it, you don't have to stay untill the end if you don't want to. But of course if you join, it would be nice if you could finish at least something  

We can give you a clear order if you'd like  We have to make some more designs though, so it might take a couple of days.

Well then, let me explain it to you.
You need organisation. Right now, we have 184 posts in the subforum, and it's been only 2 weeks. Diffirent topics are needed: one with the basic plan, one on story mode discussion, one on sprite concepts, one on discussing the applications we get in this topic, and after we decided a character design is good enough, it all goes in a topic especially for that character. This way, we keep it organised, people know where to find things and they don't overlook important stuff. 
Imagine having 10-20 diffirent subjects and discussions going in one topic. That equals chaos.

And forum in the forum seems to be a joke.

I don't know why you don't understand the need for it.. But we are happy with it, it's a big help.

We are with a small group of people, and in the beginning, this actually costs more time because we decide on things as a team.

We have a basic story;
We have shared our ideas on the quality and outcome of the mod;
We have started on character designs.

Nothing much to show you yet, as nothing is certain at this point, but we'll get there. Be patient.


Edit: to those longing for an update: we got the first two characters in progress.

 Nino (sprites by Arcane): a remake of my old character Nino
 Wizard (sprites by Mono): this wizard is bound to the story as a protector of an icy mountain. He'll be the first villain. 

Both spriters are doing an awesome job!


Edit2: there may not be so much progress, as many of us got exams right now

Just dropping in to show you two more character that are going to be made. First up: Dennis. As you might know, we won't make completely diffirent characters out of the original ones. The storyline is two years after the original story, so some diffirent clothes are good for a change. He wears the same colors and the haircut is still the same, so people won't see him as an entirely new character.. His moves will be left intact for the most part.




We will have a character that can transform into a werewolf. The base character design is ready, the werewolf is just a concept and it will be changed in the future... These two characters will be made after Mono is done with the sprites for the Wizard, so it will take a while.
