I uploaded the base data for Nino to dropbox. It really isn't worth the download yet, for anyone but Arcane perhaps.

Here's what I've done:
- fixed some of the weapon positions (not done with this yet). Couldn't get the heavy weapon standing sprite right, the hands should be a little more to the middle as it looks like he's carrying the stone on his head now :)
- put the sprites in the right position in the game, except for the weapon sprites
- made a first version of his sliding attack


I was wondering, is the current sliding attack meant as his run attack or as his D>J? Because I think it would suit a run attack, but I think it should be flashier if it were to be his D>J (similar to my old Nino or maybe a little less extreme, if you agree as well)

I wanted to finish some more but I got a bit of a headache :p

feels good to finaly see my sprites ingame <3

few things:

- his walking is bugged, only shows one frame, in normal walking as well as in heavy walking
- I looked at your original Nino again and have to agree that the sliding attack I sprited would be more fitting for the run-attack
- Anyway the attack is way too slow right now, let him slide faster and it should be better
- If we do take this attack as run-attack I will come up with sth different for D>J as it would be too similar to the run-attack imo
- I uploaded the sprites for D^A to dropbox x)


On another note, right now I'm giving u those tiny attack sheets, when I'm done with everything I would put all of them in one sheet if possible... or will u do it on your own so u dont get confused with the DCing? :P

I will check out the data on friday. Will fix the walking and I'll add D^A as well!

How about something like Nino's original D>J in terms of charging, but with a diffirent way of attacking? Maybe something similar to Bat's attack or Davis' run attack... Not sure yet!

I'm updating Nino at the moment.

This is what I updated:
- Fixed the walking
- Added D^A, also made it possible while holding an opponent
- Updated D>J
- Tried to make a combo out of D^A + D>J, but it only works well when the opponent is showing you his back.
- I updated the position of the weapons

Some opinions:
- the second D^A kick still feels very unnatural to me
- the slide attack is definately better as a run attack. It's almost impossible to get a good combo out of D^A + D>J. Something similar to Woody's tiger dash would be great for D>J :) As a single special move, but also as a combo finisher.
- Most sprites are extremely smooth, love it

Here are some suggestions for his D>J:
- Capoeira moves
- Flying knee kick . The view is more of a side view than Woody's D>J and the posture is slightly diffirent.
- You could also make a flying spin kick out of it, with the legs similar to Dennis' for example

-ingame D^A look pretty smooth and nice to me, if u dont like it I might redo it again tho xD
-the slide attack is nice as run-attack, only one thing tho, it feels a bit long, maybe dont completly loop it so its faster/shorter

I'm damn sick right now so I didnt realy do much D:

I've uploaded the first combo possibility for the run-attack tho, I imagine it like this:
when sliding pressing A or another certain input nino performs that spin attack.

Cool, I'll update it. Yes, DvA is pretty smooth, it's just the 2nd kick that annoys me a bit :p the other frames look great :)

Anyway, the 2nd sprite to the right isn't correct, as his swinging leg should be lower (it's going from high, to low, to middle height).
