Sorry to drop in on your conversation Ariel and Arcane, but I think that maybe we should discuss the final moveset first
The only 2 things that I would really like to be the same as in the original are: - A charging energy burst attack such as the old Nino's D>J. It doesn't have to be a slide though; - Melee combo potential Did you have any specific moves in mind Arcane? Edit: I shared my ideas on his moveset here Thanks given by: Ariel

I was thinking of a different version. First he tackles and after sending enemy/object away, he shoots energy ball which hits the enemy/object.

that could be done in addition i guess or maybe just by the player skill to dash and than shot the ball
the idea i had was to fuse the dash with the energy ball to make a stronger dash
hmn, then after releasing energy ball, make him do this super quick fast dash like in dbz/bleach/naruto and fuse with it and also dc should.
Your example after releasing energy ball he changes sides like to get more power but it makes him slower because he needs some time to gather some energy for his legs and make a jump. or we can use this way He makes a dash attack which seems to be weak but energy ball adds some power to it.
