I think the haircut is awesome, however a bit too much for LF2 maybe.

Be careful that you don't make the legs too small.

I really love that ponytail on Davis. I don't think we should change anything more than that. Longer hair sounds good in theory but wasting hours for minor change like that i don't see useful. And change is not even visable that much.
In the other hand ponytail will be visable as rhino said:

Just imagine animating ponytail on jumping and running. It would look cool.

I prefer Denis with headband. We are not doing anime comic about schoolmates. After all, this is fighting game they should dress appropriately. And it would be faster to do Dennis with headband, and everyone can animate it. It's very easy to edit. New jacket requires skills and time. And i like story about him and Nino.

For headband. Idea was like. After fighting Julian and beating him, few years? have passed and dennis always wanned to be a scholar like, so he got into that role but during his studies new enemy appeared. Also, having everyone like "I am ready to fight" outfit is a not interesting to me, yes this is my personal opinion. I like how other games like KOF, Guilty Gear or other ones have variety of outfists and styles. It would show their personalities. Well, dennis pants, original dennis pants made me think like that also. Who also goes into fight wearing formal style pants? I think its more about "not knowing when it will strike" than "knowing when it will strike"
Its not like they just appointed some place and time for a five stages fight.

We share this opinion..

For this exact reason, we decided we have to focus on the more important things first. If you check the topic 'updated plan', you'll see that we won't start making edits to the original characters' sprite sheets for quite a while

Well I guess this is louis extended..
my opinion: LF Extended is the following story of LF2 (original), in LF2 .. in order to defeat julian louis transformed into louisEX, when louis transformed he losed his armor in the battle feild ( its not like his gonna re wear it anyway besides his a lot stronger without it so he doesn't need it anymore ).
and louis need to archive a higher level of straight to keep up with new villains (sounds like DBZ ).
anyway louis should look like one of those two guys in the middle .
